Rynshu Fashion show - MENS collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in Paris (with interview)

Location: Le MeuriceDesigner: RynshuTitle: A masculine Couture style A silhouette affirmed with couture details and a return to the roots for the Rynshu collection which started up in 1992.Inspiration: a collection inspired by the black tulip Fabric: Swarovski embroidered fabrics, silk jacquard in hexagonal patterns or in red and black check, the black jacquard lacquered in peas or peony and rose patterns. And the exceptional Japanese Kurozan leather.To Note: The golden flowers positioned between 2 organdie sails. The veiled and hooded look. And the new logo placed on the back of jackets.Interview from Rynshu:I arrived in Paris and I did my first show here in January 1992 now were going into the 25th year for this collection and I really wanted to go back to the roots of what I really like.The theme that I wanted to give to this collection was couture for men.The inspiration came to me from the legendry discovery of the tulip by a Dutchman in the 16th century.What striked me the most was the fact that the tulip was a flower that nobody knew about, but overnight everyone knew of it. It ended up all over the world, and therefore before launching my collection I said to myself that I want to propose something new that has never been seen before. Then of course the tulip is traditionally red but I did it in a Rynshu way so we used the black tulip to express the rarity of the men’s couture pieces.
