Dresses for next Winter Season - Autumn/Winter 2022-23 (Fashion for Breakfast)

Published
Aug 24, 2021

Let us look into the most feminine sub-set of the wardrobe: dresses. It has always been the symbol of femininity, but also able to change and renew completely, as well as keep up with the times. Together let us check out which models are the stars of the runways in Autumn/Winter 22-23.

Let us begin with a model that certainly stands out: the Black Midi Plumage Dress. The black dress is a timeless must for every wardrobe, for the most elegant evenings, with the small added touch of feathers that decorate edges, necklines and sleeves. Fluffy and light, these plumage applications (strictly black) add eccentricity and dive-like sensuality to the look.

Changing style and moving on to something more bon-ton with the A-Line Mini Dress. The A line of this model takes us back to the ‘60s and ‘70s, a flash from the past that is renewed through semi-rigid materials that accentuate the shape of the dress and adapt it to various occasions. With glossy fabrics and precious details it becomes more chic for the evening, male patterns are suited for day outfits, ruching adds a romantic touch and metal decorations make it edgy.

A more blatantly romantic model is the Flare Dress, the starring dress of the season with its gently moving flounces. These long, flowing and easy-fit dresses are embellished with floral prints and ornaments such as bows, flounces and ruching that describe delicate and playful femininity. Thanks to glossy and lustrous fabrics, these dresses come to life with shiny fluidity that stands out with every step.

Lastly we have the Retro Tweed Dress, practically a tribute to Coco Chanel’s beloved fabric: tweed. This special fabric, which became a symbol of class thanks to its iconic stylist, does not lose its charm and in this season it creates suits for a feminine look in a retro style, fascinating and embellished with shiny thread.
