White Gallery London ends its second edition with a smile

Published
Jun 10, 2011

The second edition of White Gallery London 22-24 May 2011 closed its doors to great acclaim from visitors and exhibitors alike. The bridal design show attracted a host of international buyers and press, positioning itself as an essential date on the bridal buying calendar.

The event’s location at Battersea Evolution and its new design layout and features were highly praised. Astrid Joss, Shopping Editor, Conde Nast Brides comments, “White Gallery London’s new location is fabulous and extremely spacious. The catwalk setting was beautiful and offered a great space for designers to showcase their highly covetable new collections.”

The White Gallery London 2011 Fashion Shows, sponsored by Condé Nast Brides, provided a pre-drinks reception for guests prior to each fashion show. The catwalk shows were produced by the internationally renowned Production Team, while hair styling came from the Michel Van Clarke team and make up from Benefit.

The show’s interior was decorated with floral arrangements coming from Philippa Craddock, Wild About and Elizabeth Marsh. Philippa Craddock’s floral creations stunned guests in the champagne bar with a suspended floral chandelier, which was created using over ten thousand rose buds.

White Gallery Event Director, Alejandra Campos, comments on the success of the second edition, “Visitors figures were up on the launch show last year and above this year’s expectations, proving that key buyers acknowledge the importance of attending a world-class event and recognise that White Gallery London 2011 is possibly the only show on the circuit that is the sole reserve of top, international designers. It is a brilliant equation. The best names, the newest looks, a fine location and an unquestionable excellent production. Roll on 2012.”

White Gallery London closed its exclusive doors for 2011 with more than 85% of exhibitors re-booking for the third edition of the show, 20-22 May 2012 at Battersea Evolution.
