Melula, the children's shoes from Denmark

Melula is a new Danish brand of colourful shoes for children that took its first steps at Parisian trade show Kid that took place this 2 to 4 July.

Leading the brand is textiles graphic designers duo Louise Møllermark and Søren Hougesen. Together they create a brand of mixed shoes with a rather classic design decorated with colours and drawings that bring to mind a child's first paintings. Currently sold on the brand's e-shop (around €95), the shoes are manufactured in Portugal.

The brand, which will take part in the CIFF Kids trade show in Copenhagen from 10 to 12 August, boasts a manufacturing environment that is both ethical and environmentally friendly.
