Lulu Kennedy reveals CIFF designer selection

Published
Aug 5, 2016

Lulu Kenney, the founder and director of Fashion East and MAN, partnered with Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) for the fair's SS17 edition, curating men's and womenswear brand offerings for the Crystal Hall and RAVEN areas.

Now, the fashion insider has unveiled the selection of designers that she's bringing to Copenhagen. The womenswear brands are: Aries, Finery, Hades, LF Markey, Marques’Almeida and Richard Malone. Menswear will be represented by Christopher Shannon, Feng Chen Wang, Liam Hodges, Per Götesson and Rottingdean Bazaar. Götesson and Wang both showed at the latest edition of MAN.

The presentation will be curated and styled by Lulu and Madeleine Østlie, casting agent at AAMO. And Kennedy is counting on the Danish people to be model-good looking: the presentation will be shown on street cast models. Casting will take place Magasin Du Nord on Wednesday the 10th of August and the presentation itself will be at CIFF on August 11.

As part of their CIFF visit, Marques’ Almeida will also look for new M'A girls with whom they collaborate creatively under the hashtag; #newMAgirls.

The last CIFF show, which was held in February, saw a 10% rise in unique visitors. The upcoming edition will take place on 10-12 August, 2016.
