CIFF to feature Creative Hospitality Lab, Future of Fashion stands

On August 10-12, the new edition of fashion tradeshow CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) will be held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen.

The show first launched in 1993 and since then it has grown to include CIFF Raven, CIFF Kids, CIFF Showrooms and CIFF Shoes. It shows both men's and womenswear and is introducing a number of new initiatives this season. As previously reported on FashionMag, CIFF is now working with Fashion East's Lulu Kennedy.

The upcoming edition will feature a Creative Hospitality Lab, exploring the creative trade show experience in Copenhagen. The intention is for CIFF to get a better understanding of its visitors, in order to design better experiences and services at its shows.

CIFF has also offered newly graduated designers Future of Fashion stands. "We sponsor the graduate stands, because we feel it is important to support young, up-and-coming talent, and it's simply a really good initiative," says Mads Emil Møller, communications manager at CIFF.

The annual Future of Fashion shows is held during Copenhagen Fashion Week. This year, there's also a new mentor initiative that will see experienced designers help the graduates grow their brands. “We aim to create the optimal conditions for this group by letting them exhibit at CFF and matching them with experienced mentors, " said Betina Simonsen, director of Lifestyle & Design Cluster.
