Chaumet: Jean-Marc Mansvelt new CEO

Published
Nov 18, 2014

After ten years at Louis Vuitton, Jean-Marc Mansvelt will take over at the helm of Chaumet. Mansvelt has just been appointed CEO of the jewellery maker belonging to the LVMH group since 1999, succeeding Thierry Fritsch, we have learned from the House.

Chaumet, Joséphine collection

The executive joined Louis Vuitton in 1994 as Leather Goods Marketing Director. After having accompanied the development of the house's accessories by creating a department dedicated to this category, he was quickly promoted to the position of Director of Leather Goods and Accessories at Louis Vuitton.

This former student of HEC Paris, one of the most prominent business schools in the world, previously worked at L’Oréal, in marketing, in the luxury goods division, notably at Lancôme. After beauty and leather goods, he thus moves onto jewellery, another major player in the universe of luxury.

Thierry Fritsch has led Chaumet since 2001. He previously worked for Christofle, Cartier and Procter&Gamble.
