Yves Rocher, the beauty retailer owned by the Rocher group, operating 2,899 stores worldwide, has reorganised part of its senior management team in charge of global retail, following the departure of Roberto Bottino, head of its international retail business unit.

The former head of Yves Rocher Spain, Omar Chtayna, has now been appointed CEO of Yves Rocher’s international retail operations. In his new position, Chtayna is overseeing the stores active in a group of countries composed of Canada (53 stores), Morocco (86 stores), Spain, Sweden, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Chtayna joined Yves Rocher over 15 years ago, and has also held the post of general manager for Morocco, from 2016 to 2018.

Sophie Sanz, formerly HR director at Yves Rocher Spain, will succeed Chtayna as head of the Spanish market.

The cluster of countries including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, extended to comprise Romania and Ukraine, is now led by Miroslav Kubricht, who reports to Benoit Ponte, recently promoted to the role of CEO international retail markets & customer experience director.

Finally, Yves Rocher Turkey has joined the business development and social commerce business unit, and is headed by Elif Berker, who reports to Max Saporta, head of BRICS and international development at Yves Rocher.

Yves Rocher is present in 91 countries with 2,899 stores, 667 of which are located in France. Among its main markets are Russia, where the brand has 424 stores, Turkey, with 246 stores, Spain with 151 stores, as well as Italy and Belgium, respectively with 112 and 102 stores.

Yves Rocher is a pioneer in plant-based cosmetics, and claims to reach 30 million customers. The Rocher group generates a revenue of approximately €3 billion, and sales for Yves Rocher are worth €1.4 billion.
