Saccone said Manno “brings extensive experience in defining and leading DTC strategies for brands, particularly in the all-important digital, space that will be central to Woolrich’s growth globally”.

It’s a new role that will see him focusing on the development of the brand’s multichannel direct to consumer businesses, as well as its key digital accounts globally.

He joins from VF Corporation, where he most recently held the role of E-commerce & Digital Marketing Director at The North Face EMEA. Prior to this, he “held positions of increasing responsibility at Media Markt and eBay”.

Manno himself said he’ll be bringing “a digital-first mindset to the business, while accelerating the brand’s physical and digital presence” around the world.

The company also named Gaetano Coccopalmeri as new its Sales Director Export. This is another new role and will see him focusing on the Scandinavian, Eastern European, Russian, and Asian markets.

Saccone said that “his extensive experience in developing brands across both developed and emerging markets will be a great asset to achieving our objective of expanding Woolrich’s presence globally.”

He previously worked at Max Mara, La Perla, and Bally and most recently was Global Sales Director Distributors & Travel Retail at VF/Napapijri.
