For its January edition WSN Development, organizer of the Who's Next fashion show, is bringing something new. The event, which will be held over three days from January 21 to 23, has added a new asset to its range of shows. Faithful to its desire to offer a diversified range of products, the company's management, led by Frédéric Maus, has already organized the Who's Next trade fairs at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, dedicated to ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories; Impact, for responsible fashion, Bijorhca, for costume jewelry, but also for the first time this year the International Lingerie Show and Interfilière Paris. And now on the responsible side, Who's Next, whose theme for its next edition will be District Fantasy, is strengthening its offer. WSN and Messe Frankfurt have announced an agreement to include the Neonyt trade show, which will be part of the January edition.

Messe Frankfurt

Neonyt, a pioneer in the field of eco-responsible trade fairs, held its first edition in 2011, managing to find its place in the bustling Berlin trade fair scene. Messe Frankfurt, the owner of the event, decided to exploit the name, which has become a reference in the sector by developing the show under license. Igedo Company already hold the license for Neonyt, and is organizing a show for the first time in Düsseldorf from 2023.

WSN holds the license for France. "We are very proud of our new partnership with WSN Développement. It is a first precursor milestone in our strategic internationalization path," says Olaf Schmidt, vice president textiles & textile technologies at Messe Frankfurt. "Paris is a very attractive place for fashion, very trendy, very fashionable and increasingly linked to the southern European markets. So for us - and for our community - it's the right choice of location for our first international licensing venue."

On the Who's Next side, this offer reinforces the 40 or so exhibitors already announced at Impact, with strong French players like Panafrica or 1083, but also newcomers like the Spanish Ecoalf and Alohas. "Neonyt has been a player for over 10 years, it is a reference and it reinforces our responsible offer, which has expanded compared to last season. The WSN teams will market the Neonyt Preview, Impact and Neonyt spaces, keeping their respective specifications. For us, this edition is a trial run and will allow us to grow as we will be present for the next four seasons. What's interesting is that it's an opportunity to present brands that are more present in northern European markets."

In September, Who's Next will occupy Hall 1 of the Porte de Versailles. The Salon internationale de la lingerie and Interfilière will be held in Pavilion 4, with a new scenography designed by the ATO Agency, which worked the last few seasons on the Première Classe shows, and also with a new approach for the fashion shows.

For the rest of 2023, WSN Développement has already planned to bring its public event DRP, whose first edition took place last spring in the Grand Palais Ephémère, closer to Who's Next. The event mixing sports, fashion, sneakers and pop-culture will take place at the same time as Who's Next from September 1 to 3 at Porte de Versailles, Who's Next being planned from September 2 to 4.
