Who’s Next & Premiere Classe reinvent fashion with upcycling project

Published
Jul 18, 2016

French fashion trade shows Who’s Next and Premiere Classe have invited seven emerging designers to participate in an up-cycling styling exercise as part of the (Re)Create project.

In line with the trade show’s seasonal theme, the designers were briefed to create a collection of 20 pieces each, using second-hand clothing found at Eureka Friepe - a Rouen-based 25,000 sq mts warehouse holding over 3,500 tonnes of second-hand clothing stock.

Designers and brands participating in the project include Sea for Sinnerman, Second St, Louis Gabriel Nouchi, Work_On, Delphine Dénéréaz, Manémané and Blue Line.

The pieces will be on display from 1-5 September at Who’s Next and Premiere Class trade shows at the Porte de Versailles.

The fairs have also partnered with concept store Kiliwatch Paris, which will showcase the collections from 1 September until 2 October at its store in Etienne Marcel, Paris.
