Valentino launches live Instagram performance series with Alicia Keys

Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maison Valentino said on Friday that they’re creating “a bond with their friends and [the label’s] community through a new series of live performances on the brand’s official Instagram account”.

The performances will take over its Instagram Stories live and will kick off on @maisonvalentino on Friday evening (at 10pm CET) with Alicia Keys.

But the aim isn’t only to go for mainstream popular music with the luxury label saying that as well as well known international singers, it will feature renowned poets as part of the series.

After Alicia Keys, the performance will move on to the poetry of Rupi Kaur.

The company said the aim is to “enliven and entertain, connecting the Valentino community in a time of social distancing”.

It added that Valentino continues to promote the value of inclusivity, transforming this value into a real inclusive dream”.

And Pierpaolo Piccioli said that he’s “realised how stronger we have become through connections within our own community. I wanted to share with you these unique performances to be connected by our emotions”.
