Schneider was a leader in the VF corporation for 11 years. Of Schneider’s retirement, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Scott Roe said, “Martin is a strong leader and a truly wonderful person. In addition to his service at VF, he has been equally dedicated to giving back to his local community through involvement with non-profit organizations and serving on several boards, in addition to teaching children ice hockey and how to skate.”

Harris will work closely with Schneider throughout 2017 before taking on his leadership position in January 2018. She has spent eight years at VF and prior to that served 11 years in the construction products industry. Harris graduated from Clemson University with an accounting degree before obtaining Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management certifications. “Sandra brings an excellent balance of technology, finance and business acumen to the CIO position,” Roe said in a public statement.

VF Corporation, whose portfolio includes brands such as Vans, Timberland and The North Face, was founded in 1899 and remains one of the largest global apparel and accessories companies. Its organization includes over 500 associates around the world.
