Trademark, the women's brand founded by Louisa and Pookie Burch, is shutting down just after the release of its Resort 2019 collection.
"After much consideration, Louisa and Pookie Burch have decided to take a pause from Trademark, their accessories label," a representative told FashionNetwork.com. "As a result, Resort 2019 will be the final collection. Louisa and Pookie are extremely thankful to their retail partners, talented team and loyal customers who have supported them along this journey."
Trademark was founded in 2013, initially offering a range of ready-to-wear and accessories before reducing its offering to just accessories, the brand's best performing category, in 2016. That same year, the brand announced it would shut down its's 2,500-square-foot flagship on Grand Street, New York, in an effort to prioritize e-commerce.
In the years since its founding, Trademark's mid-range handbags, shoes and jewelry have found commercial success, and have been stocked by Moda Operandi, goop.com, theline.com and lisasaysgah.com, among others.
Sisters Louisa and Pookie Burch are the daughters of J. Christopher Burch, founder and CEO of Burch Creative Capital and the former spouse of designer Tory Burch.
