New York-based fashion label Tory Burch is continuing to expand its footprint in Australia with the opening of its first boutique in Melbourne.

Opened last month at Chadstone Shopping Centre, a premier shopping destination in Melbourne, the new boutique is true to Tory Burch’s signature style with an inviting, residential in-store feel.

The boutique is characterized by oak panel walls, cane tables and aged brass étagères, complemented by a sophisticated mix of furnishings, including a blue bamboo-pattern wallcovering, green and leopard rugs and a mocha-striped couch. Meanwhile, the store’s façade is distinguished by a green awning – another signature Tory Burch design detail.

In store, it carries a wide assortment of the Tory Burch collection including ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories and eyewear, while the luxury brand has also confirmed plans to bring Tory Sport to Australia in the future.

“We are thrilled that our collection is resonating with Australian women and excited to be opening our first boutique in Melbourne,” said Tory Burch, executive chairman and chief creative officer, in a news statement.

“I look forward to visiting when we are able to travel again and to expanding our presence in this important market.”

This is the brand’s third location in Australia, following the opening of its first store in the region at Bondi Junction in 2018, and Sydney last year.

Tory Burch launched in 2004 with a small boutique in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood. The company has since grown into a global brand with more than 300 boutiques around the world.

Most recently, the brand appointed Thibault Villet as its new president for Asia-Pacific (APAC), as the brand equally seeks to expand its presence in the region.
