Tommy Hilfiger partners with Procell for vintage apparel drop

Published
Nov 4, 2019

Tommy Hilfiger has added a new project to its list of sustainability-infused projects, partnering with New York City vintage shop Procell for a vintage apparel collection.

Tommy Hilfiger

The collection will offer a range of vintage Tommy Hilfiger pieces from the '90s and early 2000s, from vests and jackets to hats, curated by Procell. With each item paying homage to major cultural influences of the two decades, the brand said, the vintage drop will be available only a the pop-up Tommy Jeans Platform on Grand Street in Brooklyn, New York and at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship on Regent Street in London.

Available from November 1 through December 1 of 2019, prices from the drop range from $50 to $1,500.

No stranger to catering to current consumer demand for fashion with an ethical backbone, Tommy Hilfiger parent company PVH has been bolstering its sustainability efforts. In the past year, PVH boosted its green image by launching a new evolution of its corporate responsibility (CR) strategy in May that aims to reduce the company's negative impacts to zero and increase positive impacts to 100%, and becoming a member of the “Fashion Pact,” a group of fashion and luxury companies attempting to limit the industry’s impact on the climate, biodiversity and the oceans, in August.
