The Outnet launches Proenza Schouler capsule

Published
Feb 23, 2021

Yoox Net-A-Porter’s luxury discount store The Outnet has launched an exclusive capsule collection with designer brand Proenza Schouler. It said the company has worked with the 19-year-old label for many years and the brand is a popular one among its customers.

The Outnet/Proenza Schouler

The offer comprises 27 styles, all constructed in signature, archive fabrics and prints from previous collections “but in a combination never seen before”. That means khaki green and pops of red paired with a more neutral colour palette “to give an elevated, contemporary feel to the collection”.

It’s interesting that even in the age of loungewear, it features “strong tailoring [and] structured dresses”, as well as more casual pieces such as “laid-back printed tees”. The e-tailer said it’s a “mix of season-less, relaxed pieces perfect for the current climate”.

Exclusive collections are being launched more and more often these days, even by outlet stores, and The Outnet has been a prime mover in this trend.

Meanwhile, given that the launch is using archive fabrics, Proenza Schouler’s designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, also highlighted the sustainability aspect of the collection.

The pieces have launched globally on the site this week with prices ranging from £150 to £695.
