Tapestry CFO Kevin Wills announces exit

Fashion holding company Tapestry, Inc.'s Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Wills, has announced his exit from the company "to pursue another opportunity," according to a press release. Wills will remain in his role until February 8, 2019, while the company begins a search for a new CFO with Spencer Stuart.


Wills began his career with the company in 2017. - Via Tapestry Inc.


Wills began his role as the company's CFO in February of 2017. He has also previously been managing director at AlixPartners, LLC since March 2014 and served as its chief financial officer from March 2014 through May of 2018. Previously, Wills served in several executive positions for Saks Inc., holding the roles of executive vice president of finance, principal financial officer, chief accounting officer and executive vice president of operations, among others, at various times throughout his career. He began working for Saks in 1997. 

“It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of the successful acquisition of Kate Spade and the establishment of Tapestry," Wills said in the Tapestry press release. "I am confident in the foundation that we have built and the significant opportunities for our brands. Looking ahead, I am excited about being closer to my family.”

Willis continues to serve on the board of directors for Kate Spade & Co., and has yet to disclose what goals he will pursue after his exit. 

Based in New York, Tapestry, Inc. manages a portfolio of luxury lifestyle brands including Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman.
