Swatch Group is going to reach the high end of its objective with a 5 to 10% increase in sales in 2015 thanks to a higher than forecast demand for its brands like Tissot and Omega, said its CEO on Friday.

In an interview in Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Nick Hayek said that the group's revenue in Japan, Switzerland and several other countries is experiencing a rhythm of growth in the double digits.

However, it is still experiencing difficulties in Russia, with the increase in sales not balancing out the fall of the rouble.

Nick Hayek also said that for the moment the Swiss group doesn't have any plans to produce a smartwatch.
