The end of the year was full of changes for LVMH's selective perfumery chain. After the appointment last November of Guillaume Motte as CEO, which came after the surprise resignation of Martin Brok, Sephora has now announced the departure of its general manager France, Thierry Bertrand-Souleau.

Thierry Bertrand-Souleau joined Sephora in 2012 as vice president in charge of retail France. In 2016, he took over as head of the brand in Italy, and became head of France in September 2018.

As of January 1, 2023, he will take over the management of Tannico, an online wine company equally owned by the Italian group Campari and the French Moët Hennessy, which is part of the LVMH group.

Sephora, which has 3,000 stores worldwide, has estimated sales of around 10 billion euros. In France, the brand had a turnover of 1.468 billion euros at the end of 2021, according to the accounts filed by the company, and employed 4,500 people.

Contacted by ours editors, the perfume chain Sephora says it has not yet named a successor.
