Scoop adds new designers to SS20 lineup

Published
Jul 2, 2019

Premium womenswear trade show Scoop has announced that its upcoming SS20 edition will feature a carefully curated selection of new talent.

A Kjærbede is one of the new designers joining the show in July

Taking place on 21-23 July at London’s Saatchi Gallery against a backdrop of art and installations, Scoop said the new designers will celebrate, reinvent and reinterpret traditional and artisanal crafts - an enduring trend for the SS20 season.

The selection of new brands and designers will include cult label Cecilie Copenhagen, Parisian brand Suncoo, eyewear from A Kjærbede, Italian-made hats from Mhudi, artisanal brand M.A.B.E., Kleed Kimonos, and hair accessory label Maison Johanna Braitbart.

Visitors to the trade event will also be able to view the new Sweet Harmony exhibition, which is running at the art gallery from 12 July until 14 September. The immersive exhibition celebrates the birth of dance music and the impact of rave on youth culture today through multimedia installations and artworks by some of the movement's most prolific and authentic visual commentators.

Scoop is renowned for its exclusive presentation and curated edit of fashion designers and labels from Britain and the rest of the world. Led by Karen Radley, the trade fair welcomes buyers from premium department stores including Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas, John Lewis, Voisins, Galeries Lafayette, Beymen and Le Bon Marché, as well as independent boutiques such as Aria Boutique, Found, Iris Fashion, Jules B, and Sue Parkinson.

The upcoming show will be held on 21-23 July at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea.
