Richard Quinn links with Clearpay for fashion week NFTs

Published
Oct 10, 2022

Principal London Fashion Week (LFW) partner Clearpay has teamed up with designer Richard Quinn and the British Fashion Council BFC). The collaboration sees the BNPL specialist offering a limited edition non-fungible token (NFT), “giving fashion enthusiasts access to an exclusive experience or bespoke designer merchandise”.

The ‘Richard Quinn x Clearpay: London Fashion Week In Bloom’ collaboration, including the limited edition rose NFT, is inspired by the giant roses that featured in Quinn’s SS23 show in September.

All proceeds of the NFT sales will be donated to the BFC Foundation, which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant-giving and business mentoring.

On purchasing an NFT, customers can select from two options. Firstly, Quinn’s VIP London Fashion Week celebration on 12 October includes 15 NFTs unlocking an invitation for the customer and a guest to attend Quinn’s party in Covent Garden.

At the event, the designer “will unveil his favourite and most iconic looks to date” alongside key pieces from his SS23 collection. This includes a selection from the 23 bespoke, made-to-order outfits he created in tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth.

Secondly, 35 NFTs come with a limited edition collection of accessories in a Richard Quinn floral print created exclusively with Clearpay. The specially curated set includes a bucket hat, a scrunchie and a tote bag. A total of 50 NFTs have been made available for purchase at £50 each on inbloom.co.uk.

Nick Molnar, co-founder of Clearpay, said: Our Richard Quinn partnership is another fantastic example of how we’re bringing Clearpay’s mission to life - connecting shoppers to the best brands in innovative and exciting ways. We are thrilled to continue our support of the British fashion and retail industry in this meaningful way.”
