Online fashion e-tailer PrettyLittleThing has lodged a planning application to build a new 65,000-square-foot head office in Manchester as expansion continues.

The proposal includes redeveloping a vacant warehouse on Pollard Street, located on the north-east of Manchester city centre, to provide 65,000 square feet of office space and accommodate 250 employees.

A number of improvements are proposed to the site, including adding two floors and building 74 parking spaces. The planning application shows plans for a theatre facility, a restaurant and gym.

PrettyLittleThing has enjoyed stellar growth since its creation in 2012. The brand, aimed at women aged 16-25, was acquired by Boohoo Group in 2016, and reported revenue growth of 228% in the year ended 28 February 2018.

With an average price point of only £16, the brand has become a go-to destination for affordable designs inspired by celebrity fashion and catwalk shows. The company says it offers over 6,000 styles on its website, with dresses, jumpsuits and tops amongst its core products.
