Whilst expecting her second child, Nicole Richie has designed a clothing line for expectant mothers. The range has been created for American label A Pea in the Pod and picks up on themes near to the star’s heart: bohemia and chic.

This collection, available from the label’s website from the 7th of August, includes long dresses in color prints, tunics and leggings (prices should range from $48 to $148). Further to designing the clothes, the daughter of legendary singer Lionel Richie has also posed for the collection’s publicity images.

“I have tried to give the desire and the taste for wearing clothes to women expecting a children”, Nicole Richie explained to People magazine. “I believe that the body of a pregnant woman is something beautiful and should be shown”, she concluded. Nicole Richie has experience in the fashion and accessories market, having previously launched her own jewelry brand ‘House of Harlow 1960’, named after her first daughter.
