Neinver begins construction on Amsterdam outlet

Neinver has finally obtained the environmental permit to launch construction on Amsterdam The Style Outlets. The center will be located in the former industrial area of Sugar City, in Halfweg on the outskirts of Amsterdam and is scheduled to open in 2017.

The shopping center will encompass 150 shops with a retail area of 194,000 ft² and will offer a leisure and food-court area of over 11,000 ft² with terraces, corridors, greenery and a kids/family zone. 

The center has been designed by the Dutch architectural agency Soeters Van Eldonk and borrows inspiration from the most beautiful Dutch architectural achievements and the industrial aesthetics of the surrounding area, once home to numerous sugar factories. 

Amsterdam The Style Outlets Amsterdam intends to become an international destination for upscale shopping, offering national and international premium brands. 

The Spanish company Neinver is a European leader in promotion, investment and commercial property management. The company now has 15 outlet centers under the banners of ”Factory" and "The Style Outlets”, and has been recognized as one of the best European outlet managers by major international brands (Study Ecostra-Magdus 2013). It has two other projects are underway with Viladecans in Spain and with Werl in Germany and Neinver intends to further develop in Europe.
