The latest collaboration focuses on Rocketman, the biopic about Elton John directed by  Dexter Fletcher and produced by Matthew Vaughn and David Furnish.

But rather than taking cues from the famous British artist’s style, the new ‘costume to collection’ collaboration puts the spotlight on his manager and ex-boyfriend John Reid, played by Mr Richard Madden.

Developed by Kingsman, Mr Porter’s in-house tailoring brand, the 16-piece line features two original Kingsman suits and a tuxedo jacket; three shirts, six ties and a pocket square by Kingsman + Turnbull & Asser. A pair of boots from Kingsman + George Cleverley complete the range.

This is the third ‘costume to collection’ collaboration between Mr Porter and Matthew Vaughn following two capsule ranges with his films Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017).

The new ‘Rocketman by Kingsman’ range will launch on Mr Porter from 29 May and the menswear destination will further promote the partnership with a special story in The Journal on 20 May.

Rocketman premieres in the UK this Monday, and in the US on Wednesday 29 May. The film will be in theatres from 24 May in the UK and 31 May in the US.
