Mid/night 00.00 lands in the United States and Canada and collaborates with Oysho
Founded in 2018, the Barcelona-based natural cosmetics firm driven by entrepreneur Marc Ciudad and influencer Nina Urgell is advancing its international development. After having closed a financing round of €500,000 with the main objective of none other than "growing abroad" (as pointed out by the co-founder of the brand to FashionNetwork.com last summer), Mid/night 00.00 is entering a new stage marked by the opening of international markets and partnerships with key players in e-commerce.
As part of its internationalization strategy, the Barcelona-based company has announced its arrival in the Canadian and US markets thanks to a partnership with the multi-brand fashion and cosmetics platform founded in 2003 in Montreal, Ssense. This distribution agreement follows the most recent ones signed by Mid/night 00.00 with the Italian luxury e-commerce Luisa Via Roma and Dover Street Market, through which the minimalist brand opened its first point of sale in Paris last summer.
The firm also sealed a collaboration with the undergarments and sportswear brand, Oysho. This agreement will bring subsequent visibility and market openings to the brand as it completes the Inditex-owned chain’s online product offering. To approach a more niche target, the brand is also available in the exclusive online streetwear store End Clothing, in the Barcelona fashion marketplace Vasquiat, and in the Spanish cosmetics platform Laconicum.
The brand driven by Urgell and Ciudad already boasts its first Studio 01, located in the Gràcia neighborhood in Barcelona, where they offer their customers the sustainable option of refilling the products’ containers. Mid/night is already present in the city’s luxury concept store Darial, located at Carrer d'Ausias March 37.
"The main objective for 2022 is to internationalize the brand and position it worldwide," said Ciudad about Mid/night 00.00's next steps, underlining his desire to "do it hand in hand with the best international retailers, such as Ssense, Dover Street Market, and End Clothing."
