It’s a big responsibility with the company’s brand portfolio including a vast range of labels such as Tom Ford, adidas Sport and Originals, Bally, Moncler, Sportmax, Ermenegildo Zegna, Longines, Victoria’s Secret, Tod's, Emilio Pucci, BMW, Swarovski, Dsquared2, Guess, Diesel and Timberland, among others. It sold around 14 million eyeglasses last year.

The company said Beccarini will work closely with the creative direction and style offices of the brands in the portfolio. It added that the new exec has “extensive expertise in the eyewear industry and comes from many years of experience in internationally prestigious companies such as Prada and Luxottica, where he has held strategic and influential roles over the years”.

Now reporting directly to Marcolin CEO & General Manager Fabrizio Curci, Beccarini has previously “overseen the management and development of various product and eyewear collections, with responsibility for design and creativity, as well as the management of licenses and monitoring of industry trends”.

In his new role, he’ll “aim to maximise the creative potential of the brands represented by the company for the eyewear category, anticipating and delivering on the market’s needs”.
