Roberto Cavalli's first Peter Dundas- designed menswear collection will open the show at Milano Moda Uomo on the evening of 15th January. Among the 39 shows scheduled until 19th January there will be the first-ever by Pal Zileri and British designer Helen Anthony.

"A major novelty," said Carlo Capasa, President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI, the Italian fashion chamber) "is represented by the fact that for the first time the wonderful 'Cariatidi' room will be made available by CNMI and the City of Milan for the MMU event." On Tuesday 19th January the Cariatidi room will also host a closing cocktail for the media and buyers.

Cavalli only is scheduled to show on Friday 15th January, but Saturday 16th will be a very busy day: Corneliani will show first, followed by Ermenegildo Zegna, Costume National Homme, Marni, Jil Sander, Les Hommes, Neil Barrett, Pal Zileri, Versace and Philipp Plein. On Sunday it will be the turn of Bottega Veneta, n°21, Richmond, Salvatore Ferragamo, Calvin Klein Collection, Vivienne Westwood, Missoni, Daks, Prada, Moncler gamme bleu and Damir Doma.

The shows scheduled for Monday 18th are Diesel Black Gold, Emporio Armani, Antonio Marras, Gucci, Etro, Msgm, Canali, Ermanno Scervino, Fendi, Marcelo Burlon county of Milan and Brioni. The mini menswear Fashion Week will close on Tuesday 19th with Dsquared2, Giorgio Armani, Dirk Bikkembergs, Christian Pellizzari and Helen Anthony.
