With more than 25 million Instagram followers, Chiara Ferragni is one of the world's leading fashion influencers. Ever since she sent the Tod’s share price skyrocketing in April, the day after it was announced she had joined the footwear group’s board of directors, the Italian influencer’s own reputation has been soaring. Fashion and luxury brands are falling over themselves to work with Ferragni in order to tap into her web audience, and Louis Vuitton is the latest to succumb to Chiara Ferragni mania.

Now that the LVMH group’s leading label has chosen Ferragni to promote its latest shoe model, the LV Archlight Slingback, she can add a prestigious new name to her résumé.

Louis Vuitton art director Nicolas Ghesquière drew his inspiration from the label’s iconic LV Archlight sneaker to create a new high-heel model with a couture twist.

The campaign was lensed and filmed in the streets of Milan and in the gardens of Casa degli Atellani, a historic palazzo home to the vineyards of Leonardo da Vinci. It features the influencer/entrepreneur, dressed in Louis Vuitton and flaunting the label’s new slingbacks, promenading around and playing with her dog.

This is not the first time that Ferragni has teamed up with a prestigious luxury label, having already collaborated with Dior and Chanel. But the partnership with Louis Vuitton marks a new milestone, as Ferragni herself said in a post on her Instagram account: “I’ve always been a big Louis Vuitton fan, and now I can say that one of my childhood dreams has come true.”

After Intimissimi, Pantene, Amazon, Swarovski, Pomellato and Evian in recent years, as well as Nespresso, Ghd, Hublot and Bulgari in recent months, Ferragni can add the name of Louis Vuitton to her trophy cabinet.
