Lark London is embarking on its first retail venture outside the UK’s capital (but not too far out). The independent lifestyle boutique brand is planning to open at the Victoria Place shopping centre in Woking, Surrey, in March.

The Commercial Way location will offer 1,558 sq ft space showcasing a selection of lifestyle and homeware products from over 300 brands.

Lark London, which operates 11 stores in southwest London including Wimbledon, Streatham, Chiswick, Clapham and Fulham, is run by Dominic and Priya Aurora-Crowe, taking a “family-oriented and personal approach to retail… creating a one-stop shop for gifts”, including a comprehensive collection of fashion, jewellery, and homewares as well as soaps, candles and stationery.

It also “spotlights ethical and accessible consumption, sourcing products from responsible suppliers, local businesses, and offers design-led, on-trend gifts at a lower price point than competitors”.  It noted the selection will be refreshed regularly, providing a diverse shopping experience”.

The Aurora-Crowes said: “Following the success of our London locations, we wanted our next store’s home to be in the heart of a town centre full of buzz and with a strong sense of community, which is exactly what we’ve found in Victoria Place.”

The signing of Lark London follows a successful end to 2022 for Victoria Place which opened Henry Plaza reconstruction last March, welcoming retail giant M&S, and menswear specialist Moss Bros.
