Lanvin, the luxury French label founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin and bought by giant Chinese conglomerate Fosun in 2018, has signed a long-term global licence deal with Marchon Eyewear for the production of its men’s and women’s eyeglasses and sunglasses.

The first men’s and women’s eyewear collections produced by Marchon in Italy for Lanvin, inspired by the mood and aesthetics developed by Lanvin’s Creative Director Bruno Sialelli, will arrive in-store in September 2020. Ahead of the official launch, a capsule collection of four pairs of sunglasses will be presented in March 2020.

Marchon Eyewear has already begun to collaborate with Sialelli, developing and producing the eyewear used for Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, which showed in Paris earlier this week.

“We are very proud to collaborate with Lanvin and contribute to the brand's future global growth,” commented Nicola Zotta, president and CEO of Marchon Eyewear, Inc. “Lanvin's prestigious legacy and modern vision have already begun to inspire our teams. We look forward to being a part of the forward momentum of the Lanvin brand and to working closely with Bruno and his team to realise his vision, while extending our category expertise and positioning within the luxury eyewear segment,” added Zotta.

Lanvin’s new eyewear collections will be available worldwide at select shopping malls, specialist and premium eyewear retailers, as well as at Lanvin stores and on lanvin.com.
