Luxury fashion and lifestyle conglomerate LVMH is going global for the fourth edition of its "Les Journées Particulières" event.

The group is opening the doors of its famous fashion "maisons" this autumn, inviting the public to explore its heritage on four different continents.

From October 12 through October 14, visitors will be able to explore a total of 76 places from 56 of LVMH's prestigious fashion houses, which include brands such as Louis Vuitton, Céline, Kenzo and Fendi, as well as haute jewelry and watchmakers Bvlgari and TAG Heuer. Some 38 of the locales are being opened to the public for the first time.

This year, the event will once again feature iconic fashion destinations such as the salons of its Parisian houses Dior, Guerlain, Chaumet and Givenchy, with visitors also given the opportunity to delve into the stories of Fendi, Pucci and Bvlgari. Sites opening up for the first time will include Benefit Cosmetics in San Francisco, Sephora in the United States and Europe, and the Cloudy Bay winery in New Zealand, as well as Les Fontaines Parfumées -- the fragrance workshop shared by Parfums Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton -- in Grasse, France and La Colle Noire, Christian Dior's last residence in Montauroux. In total, 13 countries will participate in the initiative, offering visitors the opportunity to tour the houses and meet the group's artisans.

"The Journées Particulières is a unique event which showcases our artisans' passion for creativity and their trades, and where the general public is able to meet the Houses' talents," said Bernard Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH, in a statement. "The event is an invitation to discover exceptional venues and carefully-preserved savoir-faire."

The concept of ‘Les Journées Particulières' was first debuted in 2011 by the luxury group, and this year's event has been awarded the "Année Européenne du Patrimoine Culturel 2018" label.
