Kate Moss-Nikkie deal will see specially curated collection this summer

Dutch label Nikkie has unveiled the first fruit of its collaboration with Kate Moss with a collection specially curated by the British supermodel.

Nikkie's Selected by Kate Moss collection was unveiled in Berlin this week

Premiered on Wednesday evening at Soho House in Berlin during the German capital’s fashion week, the Selected by Kate Moss collection will launch in July and will include a comprehensive offer of dresses, jackets, bottoms and tops.

Specific pricing has not yet been announced but it is believed the Kate moss pieces will retail at similar prices to the regular line-up created by celebrity designer Nikkie Plessen. That would mean dresses from €70 to €300, up to €400 for leather jackets, and €70 to €150 for knitwear.

It was revealed last year that Moss had been signed by the company to be its brand ambassador with the model set to appear in the AW17 campaign for the brand.

Plessen said: “Kate Moss has been an inspiration to me, because she is everything I want my label to radiate: tough and strong, but also feminine and sexy. With Kate as our international ambassador, we put Nikkie solidly on the international map.”

The label was founded in 2011 as a bridge offer between high-end and high street and has 15 standalone stores, as well as concessions in department stores in Europe and Asia.
