Since last Monday, Alex Malgouyres has been serving as John Gallaino’s new communications director in France as well as internationally. He will be in charge of the brand’s image for all of its products (female, male and children’s ready-to-wear, accessories, jewellery, glasses, watches and perfumes).

Holder of a strong background in communications, Alex Malgouyres spent 5 years working for Burberry. Three of those were spent in Paris as the PR director for Europe and the remaining two in New York, where he held the same post for the United States. Prior to that, Malgouyres spent 4 years at KCD handling PR for Alexander McQueen, Helmut Lang, and Kim Jones in France and Italy.

Even though John Galliano does not have the same financial means as Burberry, the brand seems to have a higher profile among the fashionistas. Adored by the fashion community, the label sells its collections under the name of John Galliano as well as Galliano, the latter being a more affordable version of the first. In terms of points of sale, the brand has a flagship store in Paris, located at 384 Sait Honoré Street, as well as a stand at Galeries Lafayette and another at Printemps Haussmann. The brand is sold in London at the Dover Street Market, Harvey Nichols or Harrods.
