Jimmy Choo launches debut makeup collection

Published
Mar 20, 2020

Jimmy Choo is dipping its toes into the world of makeup with the launch of its first capsule collection of colour cosmetics.

The brand has recently launched a new fragrance - Jimmy Choo

Building on a decade-long license partnership with Interparfums, the ‘Seduction Collection’ range features eight nail polishes, ten lipsticks and six concentrated fragrances.

All products are inspired by signature Jimmy Choo shoe designs, and come encased in a nude-tinted box with hints of gold glitter to mirror the brand’s glamorous profile.

The collection has launched exclusively at Harrods from £35.

Fans of the upmarket shoe brand have been asking for a makeup collection for a while. In 2018, CEO Pierre Denis hinted at a possible expansion into this area, sending luxury lovers into a frenzy. But Denis won’t be there to see if the makeup collection becomes a success; last month he announced he is leaving his job after eight months to join Coty as its new CEO.

A search for a new CEO is now under way, according to owner Capri Holdings.
