Feb 20, 2017

The footwear selection for Canadian shoppers just got a little bigger with cult Japanese performance sandal brand Suicoke’s first foray into Canada.

The Japan-based brand will be available in Canada for the first time through Suicoke’s first-ever e-commerce website, suicoke.ca, as well as in luxury Canadian retailers such as Gravity Pope, Haven Shop, Holt Renfrew, Ssense, TNT and more.

Suicoke’s spring 2017 collection, characterized by the brand’s signature details including neoprene panels, adjustable nylon straps, and Vibram Morflex soles, will be available to Canadian shoppers as of this month. The collection ranges from $135 to $370.

The brand will be distributed in Canada by wholesale multi-brand sales and distribution agency, Slavin Raphael.

“Suicoke provides a fresh and innovative take on the sandal,” said Avi Raphael, partner at Slavin Raphael, in a news statement. “We saw a void in the Canadian footwear market and therefore an opportunity to bring this globally recognized brand and its wide selection of performance sandals to Canada.”

This also marks the first time globally that the brand will be available via a direct e-commerce site.

Suicoke was established in 2006.
