french shoemaker JM Weston has joined forces with young British designer, Charlie Casely Hayford, to produce three styles of men’s shoes. The French luxury fashion house, under the artistic direction of Michel Perry, will release the styles in Paris, London and Tokyo stores this May.

The Franco-British allianc has turned out a quiltied, calfskin loafer and two models of more maximalist oxfords made from leather with checkered prints.

The result evokes the quirky and dandy spirit of the London menswear brand Casely-Hayford, of which Charlie Casely-Hayford, 26, is now artistic director. The founder of the brand, his father Joe, is a famous Savile Row tailor and has served as official designer to Bono, Oasis and The Clash.
