Spanish upmarket brand Intropia, formerly known as Hoss Intropia, has announced the launch of a bridalwear collection, Intropia Atelier. The range, a first for the brand, is set to hit Intropia stores this month and will be also available in select retailers across Europe.

The brand has previewed a dress that will be part of the new Intropia Atelier collection - Intropia

The range of dresses for brides has been designed by Alejandra Valero, who is a member of the creative team behind the brand led by Constan Hernandez. The president and creative director said it was a priority for the brand to create dresses that could be also dressed down.

Intropia’s move into bridalwear responds to a growing demand from existing customers, as the Madrid-based label noticed customers were increasingly visiting its stores to buy a dress for their wedding day.

Intropia Atelier caters for urban and modern brides with delicate pieces featuring tulle and lace. Colours range from white to ivory.

With this launch, the brand takes the business one step further after having hired Paula Rodriguez as new CEO last year.

Intropia has currently 37 stores including directly-owned stores and concessions, which account for more than 50% of total revenue. The business has also a strong presence in multi-brand retailers as well as online, and has a network of franchised stores.

It is currently present in more than 40 countries through more than 1,000 retail partnerships. In Europe, Intropia has 17 stores in Spain, 2 in Portugal and one in London and Rome. It is also stocked in France in Printemps stores.
