Global teen retail brand Hollister has extended its partnership with digital youth charity The Mix, providing free and confidential support to young people across the UK.

To coincide with the third anniversary of Hollister’s World Teen Mental Wellness Day (WTMWD) on 2 March, the initiative encourages young people to practice self-care and deliver a message “that by taking care of yourself, your own resources are replenished and in doing so you will have more to give to yourself, others and the world”.

It will be accompanied by the launch of an exclusive WTMWD capsule collection on 2 March, consisting of a hooded top, t-shirt and socks. Prices start from £9 and profits from the collection will be directed to Hollister’s Confidence Project, a year-round, global initiative that supports individuals and non-profits working to strengthen confidence and mental wellness in teens through a grant programme.

For the second year running, Hollister and The Mix are collaborating in a mission to improve support networks and signposting for under 25s. The initiative will be accompanied by a special edition of The Mix’s ‘By The Way Podcast’ recorded at Hollister’s Regent Street store in London. A panel of The Mix ambassadors and Hollister store associates will share their expertise and experiences to a closed audience. The podcast will then be available via The Mix’s  Instagram and Youtube channels on 2 March.

Katie Adams, Director of EMEA Marketing at Hollister, said:“Mental wellness continues to be deeply important to us and our teen customers around the world. Through Hollister’s WTMWD initiative and The Mix’s unrivalled expertise and passion we have a strong foundation to help equip young people with the skill sets and confidence to fight back and thrive.”
