H&M collaborates with No Fear and The Skate Kitchen

Published
Oct 1, 2021

H&M is launching an AW21 collab with skate and streetwear brand No Fear, “boldly flipping the narrative and redefining fear for young people around the world today”.

No Fear x H&M

The brand is currently being relaunched and H&M said it also “takes on a more female perspective with the help of The Skate Kitchen, the New York-based all-female skate crew, who feature as co-creators and stars of the campaign” that comes with the collab.

The new collection “plays with oversized and bodycon silhouettes through elevated basics and striking graphic logos and illustrations”

No Fear x H&M launches on October 14 and will be in stores worldwide, as well as online at hm.com.

The retailer said the collection “fires up the ‘No Fear’ mentality for a progressive and inclusive generation of young women, with 23 garments including oversized T-shirts, crop tops, shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, knitwear, varsity jackets, tracksuits and joggers, all with graphic logos or illustrations”.

There are also 11 accessories, including bags, beanies, trainers, scarves and stickers.

The main colour palette is vibrant green, black and white, while the co-created pieces with The Skate Kitchen are in a colour palette of beige, khaki brown, green and washed black.

Hamish Morjaria, Head of Brand Partnerships and Licensing at No Fear, said: “It feels amazing to relaunch No Fear with the collaboration with H&M and co-create some pieces with The Skate Kitchen. We’re especially proud to add our voice to the next generation, encouraging them to be themselves and fight for what they believe in with a ‘No Fear’ ethos backing them up.”

Founded in 1989, No Fear had a volatile history with it riding high in the 1990s and noughties but filing for bankruptcy in 2011 and then being bought by Frasers Group (known back then as Sports Direct).
