Glossier founder, Emily Weiss of Into the Gloss, told WWD that the company is considering opening a store in the future. "It’s not something that’s in the pipeline for the coming few months or probably not even this year, but we definitely want to experiment with different offline activations and standalone retail." The Glossier’s first pop-up was at Everlane this past winter.

On the Glossier website, customers can enter their email for a chance to win a Phase 1 Set, mask duo, $250 to spend at Nasty Gal and an invite to a pre-party that Weiss and Nasty Gal founder, Sophia Amoruso will throw on June 4th.

Amoruso also shared thoughts of expanding her company explaining that the two current stores are test cases. "We’re just using these stores as a lab, in a way, for us to understand retail and get it right before we make a bigger splash."

Emily Weiss founded blog, Into the Gloss while she was an assistant at Vogue. Through ITG, Weiss has interviewed models, makeup artists and the women she admired about beauty. Sophia Amoruso founded Nasty Gal in 2006 where she sold vintage fashion on eBay before moving to a domain by 2008. The company opened its first store in Los Angeles in 2014 and Santa Monica this year.
