Gerry Weber is planning to deliver the last collection of its discontinued Talkabout brand in early 2019, however Raimund Axmann, Executive Vice President of Product for the brand and the core Gerry Weber label is planning to leave the company much earlier.

Raimund Axmann is leaving the clothing specialist - GERRY WEBER

Axmann is stepping down from his role on 31 October to pursue new opportunities, the troubled German clothing company said. He had already announced in July that he would not renew his contract past the 30th June 2020 due to personal reasons.

Axmann joined the group in September 2006 as managing director of the Gerry Weber Life Style Fashion business with responsibility for the categories of knitwear, shirts, trousers, skirts, tops and outdoor.

Most recently, he was executive vice president of product for the Gerry Weber and Talkabout business units.

“We would like to thank Mr. Axmann for his many years of successful work for the Gerry Weber Group and wish him all the best for his professional and personal future,” said CEO Ralf Weber in a press release this week.

The company has not yet announced who will be taking over his role.
