Gap names Rosella Giuliani as style director for denim brand 1969

Gap has recruited the vice-president of design and marketing at Seven for all Mankind, Rosella Giuliani, to take the reins of the style team for 1969, its premium jeans brand that was relaunched in 2009.

Rosella Giuliani has previously worked for Gap Inc and will now rejoin the company in Los Angeles. This location is a first for the group which had hitherto brought its key directors together in its homeland of San Francisco. Ms Giuliani will work under the supervision of Marka Hansen, president of Gap’s brands, and Patrick Robinson, designer in chief at Gap.
