Fendi Americas on Monday named Tenley Zinke as Vice President of Communications, succeeding Joshua Gaynor, who left the company in January to join Bulgari as VP, Brand Marketing & Communications.

Zinke, who assumes her new role on April 4, 2017, most recently worked at Tiffany & Co. as Group Director, Global Public Relations, Strategy and Development. She briefly served as an independent brand consultant after serving in communications roles at Net-a-Porter, Ralph Lauren, and LVMH for Céline, Christian Lacroix, Kenzo and Loewe.

At Fendi, she will report to Fendi Americas President Gaetano Sciuto and Christina Monfardini, Global Director of Communications.

The appointment comes months after Fendi’s huge “F is for…” bash during New York Fashion Week in February. The event supported the launch of a new Fendi app that provides access to parties and exclusive content. According to Monfardini, the new app is intended “to share the millennials’ vision of The New Rome, keeping a distance from stereotypes of the city and offering a different perspective and a new language.”
