Fauré Le Page to ride into UK with opening on Bond Street

Published
Dec 9, 2019

French luxury handbags and small leatherwoods brand Fauré Le Page is to open its first UK boutique with the company having signed to open at number 26 New Bond Street.

Fauré Le Page will open on New Bond Street in London

The deal for the space was brokered by real estate advisor Savills, which said the location covers 2,500 sq ft (232 sq m) over five floors and will be extensively refurbished by Fauré Le Page. The retailer has agreed an average rental of £778,000 a year.

The arrival of the brand is happening as the joint Old and New Bond Streets remain among the most buoyant retail destinations globally and also among the most expensive as far as rental costs are concerned.

Their popularity with affluent global shoppers also means they have no difficulty in attracting tenants, despite the sky-high rents.

Anthony Selwyn, Head of London and International Retail, at Savills, said: “ Fauré Le Page will be a fantastic addition to this prime location on Bond Street, which already boasts luxury brands such as Miu Miu, Fendi, Loewe and Jimmy Choo. Bond Street remains key to global representation for high-end retailers and we anticipate more brands will look to open stores in 2020.”

In recent months, Old Bond Street has seen the debut of a Herno boutique, a Michael Kors townhouse, and an Alexander McQueen flagship, while New Bond Street has seen the opening of the new Loewe London flagship.
