Emilio Pucci launches sneaker line

Emilio Pucci continues with its freshening up and diversification strategy. The Florentine label owned by the LVMH group has launched a collection of sneakers, the latest luxury label to do so.

It is a capsule collection consisting of four models, featuring a selection of prints from the label's archives, such as the 'Monreale' and 'El Borracho'. The sneakers are produced using nylon and tech fabrics, with suede inserts and black leather frills.

Designed by Emilio Pucci's Creative Director Massimo Giorgetti, they are soft and lightweight, and entirely manufactured in Italy.

The collection is available for sale from July on the label's e-commerce site, as well as through selected Emilio Pucci stores worldwide.

This line of sporty shoes adds to the brand's range, after the launch in 2014 of a collection of silk scarves, each dedicated to a major city.

The 'Cities of the World' collection has been augmented this summer by scarves dedicated to Saint-Tropez, Portofino and Capri, which join the cities of Florence, Rome, Milan, London, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York.
