Denim Première Vision is back, and at last in physical format too. The denim industry trade show is being held in Milan until Thursday evening, featuring some 50 exhibitors that include fabric producers, garment manufacturers, launderers, finishers, accessories producers and technology firms, presenting their solutions for the Spring/Summer 2023 season.

The Superstudio Più venue in Milan is enabling exhibitors and buyers to meet up again and exchange opinions on the state of the sector, while a number of international exhibitors are participating digitally. After testing this solution in recent seasons, the organisers decided to continue with the Digital Week concept. Through Première Vision’s marketplace, international buyers can browse the products and solutions presented at the physical show, but also get in touch with vendors from all over the world via the show’s interactive digital catalogue.

The same hybrid format also applies to conferences. They too can be viewed and reviewed on the event’s site, which gives access to Trends Agora, the event’s directional and always relevant trend forum. Manon Mangin, in charge of the denim sector at Première Vision, presented the main influences that have inspired the Spring/Summer 2023 denim collections in an online seminar, it too featured on the event’s site. On Thursday, Mangin is going even further, staging a live sourcing session within Trends Agora.

The organisers have also introduced a series of new features for the Milan visitors. An augmented reality exhibition allows them to discover the new season's solutions in an unexpected way.

This hybrid in-person and digital format will be adopted again for the next sessions of Denim Première Vision. The Fall/Winter 2023 collections will be unveiled at the Arena in Berlin on May 17-18, with the Digital Week scheduled on May 16-20.
