Lakmé Fashion Week works to promote designers dedicated to high quality sustainable fashion. Designers work with local weavers and artisans to create strong cultural narratives on the runway.

"We are honored to have been invited by Lakmé to participate in this esteemed event in Indian fashion," said Jay Lakhani, co-founder of Deepa Gurnani. "While our focus at Deepa Gurnani remains in accessories, we are thrilled to have the chance to design clothing that pairs with them. We are proud to have our work featured in such a prominent fashion show in our home country."

Deepa Gurnani offers handmade unique and distinctive accessories with an emphasis on hand-embroidery. Established in 2005 by husband and wife Jay Lakhani and Deepa Gurnani, the duo’s first collection was launched at Henri Bendel’s NYC in 2006.
