Venel, Chevignon president, announced his ambition: to re-launch a presence in multi-brand stores abroad. For this purpose, the French brand presented its Fall/Winter 2016-17 collection, which draws on American sports styles from the 80s and 90s, called “retour aux origines”, at the Florence show Pitti Uomo, at Premium Exhibitions in Berlin and at Amsterdam’s trade show, Modefabriek.

For the up-coming Fall/Winter collections, the brand is making a connection to American sports - Chevignon

The brand had already reached an agreement with The French Brand Agency, to develop in the Benelux Union. To organize this development, the brand just recruited Alexis Grau as International Director, a position that he held at Vicomte A, since 2014.

Chevignon intends to grow in Germany, in the Benelux Union, Scandinavia and Italy. But it intends to rely on its past presence, via a partnership who has about six stores in the Colombian market. The brand is also eying a development in Latin America. In fact, it signed an agreement to enter big box store, El Palacio de Hierro, in Mexico, and is targeting chilly as a strong market.
